Dispute Intervention Services (DIS) is a sole proprietorship operated by Johnnie Scott Jr., Esquire. Mr. Scott worked twelve years as a mental health specialist/counselor before attending graduate and law schools. He first attended Occidental College at Los Angeles, California his freshman and sophomore years before obtaining his Bachelor of Arts (BA/Sociology) from Loyola University at New Orleans. He later acquired a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from New Mexico State University and his Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque. Mr. Scott is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and has served as an Administrative Judge with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in Washington, D.C. He has also served with distinction as a Commissioner of Mediation with the Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service (FMCS) in Oakland, California.
